Privacy Policy

About this policy
This policy applies to Dear Sea for iPhone and iPad, provided by Shengxing Yang, including its widgets.
No App data collection
The App does not collect or upload your data. It has no analytics, advertising, tracking or account system, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not operate a server that receives App data.
Stored on your device
Settings, saves, local statistics, writing and purchase-access information are stored locally. Widgets read a local summary shared by the App. Removing the App removes its local App files. Device backups made by iOS, iCloud or a computer may include local files, according to your Apple settings; we do not receive those backups.
Purchases handled by Apple
Pro purchases and restoration use Apple’s StoreKit. Apple processes the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details and do not run a purchase-receipt server.
Photos you choose to save
Only after you confirm saving a scene photo does the App request permission to add it to Photos. It does not read your photo library. Saved photos and any iCloud Photos sync are controlled by your system settings. You can delete a saved photo in Photos.
Links outside the App
Privacy, support and charity links open in the system browser. The destination website’s privacy policy applies there. The App has no embedded web browser.
If you email us
If you choose to contact us, your email provider and our mailbox provider process that message. We use the address and information you send to answer your request, not for advertising. Do not send sensitive information. You can ask us to delete the correspondence; we keep it only as needed to handle the request or meet legal obligations.
Your choices and policy changes
You can change Photos permission in system settings and delete local App data by removing the App. Purchases, system backups and photos are managed separately through Apple. We will update this page if the App’s data practices change. Contact us with privacy questions or requests.
